Lost Love:

Is it wrong to buy 10 year olds Shotguns/
Mom did that, so sad, Now she's laying dead, Shot by son/
Growing up in South Central Louisiana, Gun safety, more than pushing Buttons/
see the Big Lil' world turning, anorexics to gluttons/
Watch Kids turn emo, no attention at home, need to be shown that to properly function/
Poor Grades, Bully tirades, Need more Mentors, less gore greater neighbors/
only a thin line from Anakin to Darth Vader/
pumpin' out beats for us to speak over, Is Peace over?/
People seem to cross more than the Fader/
Used to have rules, now it's too cool not to be Sober/
They going up like Elevators, Odyssey's like Homer/
Looking for the Golden fleece, slaughtering the youngest like they golden Sheep/
hopped up on Speed, they never get a moments peace/
Steadily searching for a Pieces of the Devils Pie/
fidget terribly in one on one convos/
Fiending for that game and the console/
they need some consults/
too uncomfortable to look up in your eyes/
Surprise Surprise, the ones that do seem to be soulless/
Frigidaire to Frigid Air, Love in my heart, Greatest of all, So I'm never gonna be homeless/
Till the Last breath I take, Spit nothing but the Truth and Dopeness/
Potent, as I face my opponents/

Power:

So My night was done, proceeded to scoop my backpack/
pack up and exit the door through the back of the lab/
out of the shadows jumped 7 cats/
wearing baggy Jeans, Hoodies, vests, YES dipped in all black/
packing artillary/
Chains, Shanks, 9 mils bats/
with visions of killing me/
As the bullets came whistling/
My first thought was to duck, evasive action/
but just then, kicked in Some sort of chemical reaction/
My body started to pulse rage, energy coursed through my veins/
Vocals became flames, Torched the sorry bastards/
They tried to run, but I wouldn't let up/
Spoke till they submitted, Asked who hired the hitlist, they wouldn't fess up/
so further I sequestered/
Line for LIne, Rhyme for Rhyme, their facial expressions seemed to become more painful/
The Oration only kept on till I found the proper brainfold/
My persistence payed off, like sleeper holds from Kurt Angle/
You should be so thankful from your Center like Nick Mangold/
of the Power...

Bossin Around: The Smack Down

Prolific, gifted, What's in my soul I spit it/
Elocution's a little effed up, Nothing wrong with my Diction/
Fuck with me or my Fam, and you'll get Chucked like Dickens/
Post Disaster Hieroglyphs in your head, Read inscriptions/
Giving free advice, but it seems that you ain't Listening/
Showing up at events thinking all you gotta do is glisten/
Rapping good, but no promotion, You ain't Handled your Business/
There's more to longevity then Fresh Kicks and flipped Fits/
Money comes and goes, but Relationships are missing/
A Good name's better than cologne, that is a rule that's PRistine/
10 years down the road, you'll be on the curb wishing/
Where'd your money go, it flowed down the stream pissing/
Watching others walk past, like, "damn those Jordan 6 Rings!"/
busted and bummy, Dirty shoe rappers, HipHop Mummy's/
Please tell me, Why'd You even Show up?
To Drink till you ain't Sober? MAN, You're so touched/

Old School Fresh: BBoy Fresh

Spiritually Imperial/

Push the dose all the way up on the chemical/

Big Bodied/

built for the long haul/

even when path's Rocky/

the rockiest/

Prosperous speed, Rhinoceros/

Stepping through the Obstacles/

take a view through my opticals/

Counter flows, double time never how I chop a note/

Assholes, acting like chodes, get chopped in throats/

That Crazy Canaille one, Couillion/

Deny Sons/

always had dad/

never fathered/

Anything other than music that I Authored/

don't reach hands out for Things, I ain't offered/

pray with my hands to the sky often/

Tracks get laced, killed with grace, chilled then laced/

Promptly Arive Coffin/

Deficit is big, Attention with small margins/

Music Mavens got flaws too, I Never beg pardons/

Quite comfortable in my own skin, Yo!

My word's never foreign....

Hurricane Pt2: (My verse)

Kinda funny to think what we drink was killing people/
guess you could call it, unecessary evil/
Homes that we live in are just as feeble/
as the bodies we live in/
Add class 5 storms in, and it's rippin people's lives apart/
while Condelissa Rice was shoppin for new shoes/
Cheney was fly fishing, Man, what's up with this dude?/
I could choose to use, other poets thoughts, 'bout them peoples on the roofs/
outkast spoke the truth/

"I'll be got damnit, they done changed the rules"/

So Here's the Scoop/
convention center won't be the same
in my lifetime/
If the NOLA ain't fine/
People were dying/
tryin, ta Swim over cars/
contaminated Water flooded corradors/
giving people sores, with outbreaks like Sars/
Prez in SanDiego playin air guitar/
Guess we'd have faired better off by far/
if we wuz living abroad/
U.S. don't stand for us/
though the money says "In God we Trust"/
Tsunami help only took 2 damn days/
What happened to our brothers w/the right Mindframe?/
helpin' New York face it's weakened state/
my people was cookin' Gumbo for em' that next day/
for this, day 5, people got guns waved in they face/
couldn't go to JP, that's right there off the causeway/
we ain't gon' take that lyin' down/
people gettin shot like it wasn't they side of town/
Prez flew overhead but never touched the ground
Never came around/
that's too little too late man/
We gotta do it for ourselves
This is OUR STate Man/
and that is my statement/
Still!!!/
and That's the tripple truth Ruth For Realz....
